The Locust Table Job Requirements for All Positions:

  • Upbeat attitude, positive energy and desire to be your best.

  • Team mentality.

  • For Service Staff, at least 16 years of age.

  • For Kitchen Staff, at least 17 years of age.

  • Arrive at work on time looking polished and professional.

  • Able to move quickly and stand for six to eight hours a day.

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

Service Staff Job Description:

  • Operate a computer based point-of-sale system and accurate cash handling.

  • Deliver dishes and anticipate and act on guest’s needs.

  • Bus tables and ensure cleanliness of the dining room.

  • Create and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

Baker Job Description:

  • Early morning shift to ensure fresh-baked goods for opening.

  • Ensure timely baking of items for service.

  • Preparation of doughs and mixes.

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness while working.

Line Cook Job Description:

  • Preparation of food dishes to order in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Able to move quickly while maintaining the high standards of food quality and preparation.

  • Prep tasks to prepare the line for service.

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness while working.

Prep Cook Job Description:

  • Preparation of vegetables, meats and sauces.

  • Receive and properly store deliveries.

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness while working.

Dishwasher Job Description:

  • Thoroughly wash and sanitize all dishes.

  • Properly store clean dishes.

  • Food prep tasks, when possible.

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness while working.
