AUTHENTIC PEOPLE
My name is Karla and I live in one of the neighborhoods walk-able to Downtown Powell. My husband and I both grew up in the central Ohio area and when it came time to find our forever family home, we fell in love with Powell. The trees, the paths, the people and the community make it an ideal place for us to raise our two girls. When the perfect spot for a neighborhood cafe began to take shape so close to our home, it was like the stars had aligned and I could not pass up the opportunity to serve this great community.
AUTHENTIC HOSPITALITY
One of my favorite things to do is to place a plate of well-prepared food in front of someone. Watching someone’s face light up because they know they are about to experience something awesome is the best feeling in the world. Hosting people in my home and cooking food for them is my passion and being able to do that on a larger scale in a neighborhood cafe has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I see The Locust Table as an extension of my home and look forward to welcoming you like family to experience authentic hospitality. At The Locust Table, food quality is of the utmost importance and equally important is your experience while visiting. Our small, carefully curated menu offering a wide range of globally inspired dishes is prepared from scratch using high-quality ingredients, locally sourced when possible. Our food will nourish your body and the experience will nourish your soul. Our fast-casual service style in the bright and airy cafe with home-like touches will be the perfect place to enjoy with your family, friends or colleagues for as little or as long as you like.
